After the success of multi-purpose vehicle segment with Luxgen7 Luxgen7 MPV and SUV, car brand continues to spread to Taiwan sedan segment with the first product Luxgen5.
Luxgen5 the commercial production version of Neora EV concept appeared at the 2011 Shanghai auto show earlier this year.
Luxgen5 sedan unveiledTaiwan carmaker said Luxgen5 will compete in the segment mid-size sedan. Under the plan, Luxgen5 will officially launch the public at the auto show in Taipei in April next year.
Luxgen5 have two choices of petrol engines: the 1.8L VVT Turbo 150 horsepower, 230Nm of torque, accompanied by a 5-speed automatic transmission and 2.0L VVT Turbo 170 bhp power, torque 256Nm, combined with 6-speed automatic transmission by Aisin. Vehicles capable of accelerating from 0-100km / h in 8.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 210km / h.
The other notable point in this model consists of a series of safety technology such as ABS, electronic brake force distribution EBD, Brake assist, Electronic Stability Control ESC, TCS slip control, the screen HUD displays and entertainment system + Touch LUXGEN THINK.
